Message from the President

Dr. Laurie Joyner

I was incredibly proud to see more than 1,000 new »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ graduates walk the stage during the 2019 commencement ceremonies on May 11. These immensely talented and dedicated individuals, whose professional skills and academic ability were cultivated through our Mercy mission, will continue to serve their communities in important ways.

Though the academic year has ended, our campus is alive with activity this summer. Our STEM activities continue to shine with high-impact experiences for students outside the classroom, and our recently launched graduate programs will take them to new heights in their careers. There is exciting news to share from athletics as we welcome Corry Irvin who will become the new head women's basketball coach.

Please join us for the 23rd Annual »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ Golf Classic on August 6. This memorable event has raised more than $1 million for student scholarships since 1997. I hope to see you there!

Best Regards,

Laurie M. Joyner, Ph.D.
President
