Accounting Major

Students electing to complete the Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting must complete the University general education requirements, Graham School of Management core business requirements, and the required major courses listed below:

  • ACCT 301: Intermediate Accounting I
  • ACCT 302: Intermediate Accounting II
  • ACCT 312: Introduction to Taxation
  • ACCT 331: Accounting Information Systems
  • ACCT 341: Auditing
  • ACCT 390: Cases in Accounting
  • BANA 350: Business Analytics

In order to complete the final requirements, students must choose two of the following courses:

  • ACCT 362: Advanced Taxation
  • ACCT 332: Accounting Information Systems II: Data and Standards
  • ACCT 333: Accounting Information Systems III: Security and Reporting
  • ACCT 345: Financial Statement Analysis
  • ACCT 399: Special Topics
  • BUSP 381: Internship
